Common Support Questions

My PDF isn't downloading — what should I do? +

Try clicking "Print" instead of "PDF" as a fallback — your browser's print dialog lets you save as PDF. Also ensure you're using a modern browser (Chrome/Firefox recommended). If the issue persists, email us at support@onlineinvoicesmaker.com.

I accidentally deleted my invoice. Can it be recovered? +

On the free plan, invoices are stored in browser local storage, which means they cannot be recovered after deletion. We strongly recommend downloading a PDF copy of each invoice after creation. Pro plan users will have cloud backup (coming soon).

My GSTIN is showing as invalid — is there a format check? +

A valid Indian GSTIN is 15 characters: 2-digit state code + 10-character PAN + 1 entity number + 1 check digit. For example: 27AABCU9603R1ZX. Make sure you enter all 15 characters in the correct format. The field accepts uppercase letters.

Can I use this tool for invoices in USD or EUR for international clients? +

Yes! Use the Currency selector in the toolbar to switch to USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SGD, AUD, CAD, JPY or CNY. GST mode can be turned off for international invoices. Note that currency conversion rates are not provided — the tool only formats the selected currency symbol.

Is there an API I can integrate into my own website? +
